Expanding upon the inaugural Research Forum and its themes of creative youth development, science, and technology, the Berklee City Music® Research Meeting engaged practitioners from a variety of educational settings, representatives from philanthropic organizations, and researchers from multiple areas and institutions. We explored the connections between practice, scholarship, and development while building new relationships in those areas. From the Phoenix area, Local City Music Site Director, Regina Nixon with Phoenix Conservatory of Music participated on a panel of industry practitioners in creative youth development.
