Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton and Phoenix Center for the Arts proudly presented the Sixth Annual Mayor’s Arts Awards, “Art in the Park,” October 12, 2017,  in the Margaret T. Hance Park Urban Plaza.

This event was designed to celebrate our wonderful arts community here in Phoenix and raise funds for Vetran participation in the arts.

The Mayor’s Arts Awards serve to identify outstanding leaders in five areas; Visual Artist, Dancer/Choreographer, Musician/Composer, Literary Artist, and Innovative Art Organization. Nominees were  chosen based on the criteria of innovation, impact, and integration.

Winners received an original work of art created by a Phoenix artist. This year’s other winners included

Community Innovator: Jack Lytle
The Phoenix Conservatory of Music is proud to be a part of Phoenix’s Arts and Culture landscape and thankful for the opportunity provided by Phoenix Center for the Arts and Mayor Greg Stanton!
