Phoenix Conservatory of Music Awarded $22,000 to Expand Summer Music Camp Scholarships for Maricopa County Youth

Phoenix, AZ — The Phoenix Conservatory of Music (PCM) is proud to announce a $22,000 grant award from the Summer Youth Program Fund, administered by the Arizona Community Foundation and its collaborative partners. This investment will directly support scholarships and financial aid for PCM’s 2026 Summer Music Camp Series, ensuring that more youth across Maricopa County can access high-quality, creative summer programming.

PCM’s Summer Music Camp Series provides 7.5 weeks of music education, leadership development, and social-emotional learning for youth ages 3–17. This funding is critical to ensuring equitable access for families experiencing financial barriers.

“Because of this investment, hundreds of students will have access to a safe, creative space where they can learn, lead, and belong,” said Regina Nixon, Executive Director of PCM. “This funding allows us to continue removing financial barriers so that every young person—regardless of income—has the opportunity to experience the power of music.”

With camps from Pre-K to High School, there is something for every student at these camps. Summer at Phoenix Conservatory of Music is more than camp—it’s a chance to discover your sound. Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time or ready to level up, PCM Summer Camps are filled with music, creativity, and connection. Students collaborate, write songs, explore instruments, and build confidence—all while having fun and making new friends. Every week ends with a chance to shine, because at PCM, every student has a stage.

Scholarships are now open for Summer 2026 camps. Families are encouraged to apply early, as space is limited and demand continues to grow each year.
