In the meantime, our students will have the opportunity to experience playing in this type of venue and gaining valuable experience that will help them be college and career ready.”
Because the Hyatt cares about the local community, they have agreed to donate the use of the stage to Phoenix Conservatory of Music as a way to give back to the local upcoming talent. Hyatt Regency Scottsdale has a very robust music element to its venue with the beautiful Centerstage Bar boasting nightly music from acoustic, soul and pop to folk, jazz and more. If that was not enough to entice any music lover, the resort has released “Venice of the West’ the first CD featuring the Gondoliers. For over two decades, memories have been created on the enchanting waterways of the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa. Visitors glide along in authentic Venetian gondolas while being serenaded by singing gondoliers, transforming the waterways into a romantic “Venice of the West.” The CD is a collection of assorted classical Italian songs and arias known ’round the world. It features three Puccini opera arias, the classical “Ave Maria” by Schubert, an old Italian favorite, “non ti scordar di me” and five of some of the most well known Neopolitan songs.
