Phoenix, Arizona: Phoenix Conservatory of Music (PCM) is excited to announce the hiring of two full-time program managers, Meghan Ruel and Diego Miranda. Meghan and Diego stepped into their new roles in June 2022, and we look forward to their guidance and support with all private lessons, college prep program, early childhood education, group classes, summer camps, after school programs and all other programming needs at PCM. The addition of Meghan and Diego provide our teaching artists with a conduit for information, help determine appropriate placement for students in the programs, provide support for partnerships and leverage the tools and technology for all involved to make PCM stronger and more able to unleash the power of music.
“We are incredibly honored that Meghan and Diego are choosing to join PCM in these leadership roles. Having seen them in action as Teaching Artists, we are thrilled to work with them in this new capacity and look forward to the innovation to programs and care they will provide to our Teaching Artists and students,” said Regina Nixon, PCM Executive Director.
Meghan brings to the role a holistic understanding of music education through years of teaching, initially through violin, adding many other types of music education and administration, and looks to strengthen communication at PCM through a foundation of effective listening. Diego’s experience as a music educator through guitar, administration, technology, and other formats, provides him the ability to implement processes to make PCM run more smoothly through easy access to shared resources. Both Meghan and Diego are committed to the success of PCM, the staff, Teaching Artists, students and overall community and we are excited to welcome them as part of the administrative team.
