PCM Welcomes New Board Members; Announces Student Representative

PHOENIX, Ariz. — September 22, 2025 — The Phoenix Conservatory of Music (PCM) is pleased to announce the appointment of four new members to its Board of Directors and the selection of Megan Brooks as the 2025–26 Student Representative to the Board. These additions strengthen PCM’s capacity to advance high-quality, affordable, and accessible music education across Greater Phoenix.

“Each of these leaders brings deep expertise and a heart for our community,” said Regina Nixon, Executive Director of PCM. “Their skills in finance, healthcare systems, nonprofit impact, and philanthropic capital formation will help us expand opportunities for students to learn, perform, and thrive.”

New Board Members

Karin Fedo, CPA, PMP — Senior Accounting Manager, Make-A-Wish America
Fedo is a nonprofit finance leader with expertise in technical accounting, internal controls, and audit compliance. In addition to her professional role, she has chaired the Southwest’s largest used book sale benefiting local human service agencies, reflecting a strong commitment to community impact. Karin is joining PCM through her involvement and volunteerism with VNSA.  

Gloria Vasquez, MBA — Director of Workforce, Arizona Alliance for Community Health Centers
Vasquez oversees a team that focuses on strengthening and growing the healthcare workforce in rural and underserved areas of Maricopa and Pinal counties, She previously led community impact initiatives at Mesa United Way. Her background spans program development, government partnerships, and bilingual community outreach.

Deanna Kyrimis, DSC(c), MBA, MS — Healthcare Executive
Kyrimis is a veteran health-system operator and strategist with experience leading multi-state medical groups and hospital operations. Her record includes performance turnarounds, growth of priority clinical service lines, and Lean transformation in complex environments.

David Sullivan — President, Excellium LLC
Sullivan brings 20+ years of leadership across strategy and operations, advising organizations on growth, execution, and performance. His background includes leading teams, partnering with executives, and driving results through disciplined planning and accountability.

Student Representative to the Board

Megan Brooks — 2025–26 PCM Student Representative
PCM proudly welcomes Megan Brooks to the Board as this year’s Student Representative. Megan will provide student voice and perspective on program design, performance opportunities, and community engagement in alignment with PCM’s mission and values.
