Phoenix Conservatory of Music Announces Jam & Jazz 2026 Fundraising Breakfast

Annual Event Celebrates the Transformative Power of Music Education

PHOENIX, AZ — March 11, 2026 — Phoenix Conservatory of Music (PCM) will host its annual Jam & Jazz Fundraising Breakfast on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the Phoenix Country Club. The event brings together community leaders, supporters, educators, and families for a morning celebrating the impact of accessible music education and raising critical funds to support students across the Greater Phoenix area.

Held under the theme “Because of Music, Because of You,” the event highlights how community investment in music education helps young people build confidence, creativity, and opportunity.

For more than 25 years, Phoenix Conservatory of Music has been unleashing the power of music by providing high-quality music education and experiences to students and families across the Valley. Each year, PCM serves nearly 2,000 students through community classes, ensembles, private lessons, after-school programs, and its nationally recognized College Preparatory Program in partnership with the Berklee College of Music City Music Network.

The morning will begin with networking and live student performances from 7:45–8:30 AM, followed by breakfast and a program from 8:30–9:45 AM featuring performances from PCM’s College Prep students, inspiring stories from students and alumni, and recognition of community partners who support PCM’s mission.

“Jam & Jazz is a powerful reminder of what happens when opportunity meets talent,” said Regina Nixon, Executive Director of Phoenix Conservatory of Music. “Our students are not only learning music—they’re developing leadership, confidence, and pathways to higher education and careers. This event celebrates the community that makes that possible.”

This year, Jam and Jazz is proud to announce guest artist and PCM Alumnus Lourde Childs who will be speaking and performing.  Lourde is a PCM advocate and ambassador and will be completing his time at Berklee College of Music Spring 2026.  https://www.lourdechilds.com/

Phoenix Conservatory of Music provides a continuum of music education opportunities, from early childhood programs to advanced training for high school musicians preparing for college and careers in music and related industries.

Each year, PCM provides:

  • More than 2,000 no-cost music lessons for students in need
  • Over 3,600 private music lessons offered at reduced fees
  • Ensemble and performance opportunities that foster collaboration and creativity
  • Music technology and audio production programs preparing students for 21st-century careers

The impact of these programs is significant. PCM College Prep students achieve a 100% high school graduation rate and an 85% college enrollment rate. Since 2015, students in the program have earned more than $5.5 million in college scholarships.

Funds raised through Jam & Jazz support scholarships, community programs, and expanded access to music education for students throughout the Valley, particularly those from underserved communities.

The event will also highlight Arizona’s Charitable Tax Credit program, which allows donors to redirect state tax dollars to support qualified charitable organizations like Phoenix Conservatory of Music.
