Tuition & Financial Aid
FULL students participates in music theory, ensembles, and enrichment classes so that they can hone their skills and learn about new concepts they may not have known about, or had the chance to learn about! Tuition is $70/month. Financial aid and access to scholarships are available.
Musicians will receive 3-10 hours per week of music education for 30+ weeks throughout the school year. It will include:
- Modern Band Ensemble (Blues, Jazz, Rock, Pop, Latin Jazz, Strings)
- Music Theory Classes (including accredited classes with Paradise Valley Community College for college credit)
- Enrichment Classes (class piano, class guitar, sight singing, rhythm reading, audio production 1 & 2, songwriting, composition, and more!
- Music Industry Masterclasses and Workshops
- Performance Experience
- Opportunities to write and record songs (at Grand Canyon University) for submission to the annual compilation CD
- Access to summer intensive scholarships
LITE students will have one music theory class and up to 2 enrichment classes, all online. Tuition is $50 per month.

For New Students
Make sure to submit your most recent report card before your audition and have a parent help you fill out your application.
During your online audition, you will be perform one or two prepared pieces, do some call and response, sight read music to the best of your ability, and ask/answer questions. You will be given a music theory assessment that you can do online and turn back in. You are not expected to know every answer, it is for placement purposes only.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THE AUDITION: A good internet connection and access to a device that you can use zoom with, Your instrument, one to two prepared pieces (does not have to be long or advanced), your most recent report card, your application form, and any questions you may have. Guitarists please bring an instrument cable.
WHERE? Fall 2020 Semester will be a offered in a hybrid model. Music Theory and Enrichment classes will be online and Ensembles (providing we have 21 days+ of declining COVID cases) will be in person starting in October.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE AUDITION? You will need to access a parent portal and e-sign your paperwork. Your student will be placed in a theory class and Ensemble based on knowledge, skill, and instrumentation. Rehearsals may happen during the week or on Sat. based on their availability. Schedules will be determined by the number of students auditioning, and the levels and instrument types that are present. Regular Program Runs September – May.
Orientation will be broadcast on PCM’s Twitch Channel on Saturday, September 12 with programming starting September 14. The first month will be a virtual program with in person Ensembles beginning (provided COVID cases decline appropriately) October 12.
