On November 10, 2016, PCM Executive Director, Regina Nixon, was awarded the 2016 Berklee City Music Network Distinguished Service Award this year for Sustained Leadership. The Award was presented by Berklee College of Music President Roger Brown. These awards are based on staff recommendations and reflect the interactions had between the City Music Network offices in Boston, MA and Network Sites throughout North America. “The award is an honor and reflects the overall work that our network site has done in providing quality music education that is affordable and accessible in our community. It is also an honor to be awarded when the quality of the leadership at all the network sites across the country is strong. It is a great community to be involved in and learn from and with.”, says Regina.
